More Rush Hour details and some early plans for the evolution of our creative tools

As Rush Hour gets ever closer we'll be showing off more of what you can expect in the next few weeks with dedicated articles and streams. In this week's Roadmap we'll be looking both at the highly anticipated passenger update and at some features that are a little further away.

Alongside this Roadmap update is the first demonstration and overview of the new passenger system. This enhanced approach to passengers gives a greater variety of people in the world in greater numbers no matter which platform you play on. This improvement to the overall appearance of passengers is accompanied by changes to their behaviour that should result in your experience being closer to reality than we've seen before. In this week's stream we'll be discussing the passenger system with Matt on hand to answer your questions. We'll also be focusing on the two creative tools that entered the In Planning section of the roadmap last time around. These updates are a little further out but the intention is to take the barebones toolset with have now and introduce more of the features you've asked for most frequently. Over the past year you've given an enormous quantity of feedback and suggestions and we've been listening. The full list of changes will be locked down over the coming months but in today's stream we'll talk in a more general sense, particularly when it comes to the most requested feature of all.

Finally this week we've flagged up the West Cornwall Local route as "new" even though it's been on the roadmap for a while now as we're finally able to announce that the route is being extended to St Austell. Many of you will know that we've been hoping to make this announcement for a while now and we're pleased to be able to confirm it now.
