Train Simulator Classic - LMS Collection

Discover London, Midland and Scottish Railway in Train Simulator Classic! New Steam bundle available and collection guide.
The London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) was formed on 1 January 1923 as part of the Railways Act. Along with the other ‘Big Four’ this company cemented its place in British railway history. Recreate some of the legendary LMS journeys in Train Simulator Classic with a new LMS Centenary Bundle on the Steam Store, or read on to see a list of available LMS add-ons for the simulation.
The founding of LMS involved a merger of London and North Western Railway, the Midland Railway, the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. This merger made LMS the world’s largest transport organisation, and by 1938 the company ran thousands of miles of railways running freight and passengers across the UK. The size of the LMS network meant that in some areas there was joint ownership of lines with other rail companies and often strong competition over some journeys. Like with LNER / GWR on routes up to Scotland.
LMS became known for locomotives like the Stanier Class 5 ‘Black Five’ designed by mechanical engineer William Stanier, the express passenger Royal Scot, the versatile Fowler 4F designed by Henry Fowler and many more. You can find these stalwarts of UK railways and many more in Train Simulator Classic. Pick up the LMS Centenary Bundle to get started and read on for more in the LMS Collection.
