Rivet Games’ Island Line 2022: BR Class 484 is coming July 19 for Xbox, PlayStation, Epic Games Store and is available to pre-order now on Steam with a 10% discount
It’s just one week to go until the launch of Rivet Games’ Island Line 2022: BR Class 484! This week we have some screenshots of Rivets Isle of Wight route and their upcoming Island Line 2022 add-on to see what’s different between them. We have also included Rivets fantastic dev-blogs for you that feature some great ‘behind the scenes’ action into building the Class 484 and the modern Island Line.
This is Brading station from Rivets original Isle of Wight route (above) in comparison to the new Island Line (below). Rivet have added the second track and the track has been lowered (unlike most other stations where the platforms were raised).
This is Ryde St Johns Road station with old Isle of Wight (above) and the new Island Line (below). Notice the much higher level of detail on the platforms (exits, raised platforms), the populated depot and the parking lot make for a much more realistic look and feel.
This is Shanklin station from a drone view. You can see how much further out Rivet Games have expanded the built-up area around the station. This helps make the route feel more immersive, there have also been updates to the areas in the station like you can see with the car park.
We're back at Ryde St. Johns Road station but this time with a view from the platform. You can see in Island Line (below) that the station feels much more alive now, with new assets, higher res trees and overall improved look and feel.
