A cold front has blown in and has brought with it lots of that nice white fluffy stuff as winter is well and truly upon us here on the Isle of Catan. So, gather round the fire, put on your comfiest jumper, and make yourself a nice hot mug of hot chocolate as we run through what’s included in the second official content pack that making its way to CATAN – Console Edition.

In addition to your board blanketed with a fresh covering of snow, the hexes are dotted with cool looking snowmen, snow-covered pines, with presents nestled under the boughs – but who’s that shifty looking guy in the background there? Might need to keep a close eye on him...

It wouldn’t be a CATAN – Console Edition content pack if it didn’t include some custom seasonal-themed dice and hex frames! Presents, baubles, holly, mistletoe, wreaths, everything you could possibly want to give your CATAN games that festive feeling!

If you were a fan of the autumn seasonal content pack Reap & Sow (and why wouldn’t you be) you’ll know that we introduced some new characters into the mix. You’ll be glad to learn then that we’re continuing this tradition with Ice & Snow: We’ve got Jean, Nassir, Marianne, and Louis (Who looks a bit like Jonathan Pryce, who played the High Sparrow in Game of Thrones).

Keep your eyes peeled for friendly orcas breaching in the iceberg-filled seas. “So how do I get my warm, mitten-covered hands on this chilly goodness?” we hear you ask?
