Lake Guntersville Lowdown
Lake Guntersville was created by the Guntersville Dam in 1939 and is named after the town of Guntersville which is said to have received its name from an early settler of that region, John Gunter.
In Bassmaster Fishing 2022, Lake Guntersville is a 42km2 stretch of water. To date over 4,000,000 fish have been caught with 1,130,918 of those being Largemouth Bass, 496,327 Spotted Bass, and 194,288 Smallmouth Bass. The saying goes “The early bird catches the worm” and that is certainly the case here with over half the total fish caught having been caught at sunrise!
Once again the Jenko Fishing, Jenkolistic Swimbait seems to be the lure of choice but will it be in your load out throughout the competition?
Good luck out there and tight lines
