Train Sim World 7 Update Notes - October 22nd 2026
Oct 21, 2026
Hello everyone,
Today we're sharing the changelog for a smaller patch, releasing tomorrow, October 22nd across all platforms.
This patch will focus on further texture optimisations for various pieces of rolling stock, changes to the London Overground Mildmay Line Route Add-On in preparation for the Expansion, and the release of the TSW7 PC Editor.
As with last week’s patch, these changes reduce the overall texture memory for the individual locos or wagons, improving performance and potentially reducing the chance of blurry textures.
Please note that the impact might vary from rolling stock to rolling stock, and that blurry textures might still occur, despite these changes. We continue to work on further improvements and will share more news on this soon.
Alongside this update, we’re releasing the TSW 7 PC Editor on the Epic Games Store. We know many of you have been patiently waiting for it, and we’d like to thank you for bearing with us while we prepared it for release.
This patch also introduces changes to the London Overground Mildmay Line Route Add-On, along with the release of the Mildmay Line Richmond Extension. This extension is a free upgrade for owners of the Mildmay Line, and in addition to five new stations and a new endpoint in Richmond, it introduces several changes and improvements to the base route.
Finally, in addition to the above, this patch also introduces a few minor changes to the core game, Tri-Rail Miami and Nürnberg – Würzburg.
The patch will be live from 9am UTC/10am BST - please note that updates typically load quickly, but in some cases may take up to 24-hours to release across each platform.
