If you saw our Dovetail Direct: Spring 2024 event, you’ll know that our next UK route Add-on for Train Sim World 4 will be London Overground: Gospel Oak - Barking Riverside, featuring the modern Class 710/2 Aventra!

As part of a new project to make travel on London Overground simpler and easier for customers, Transport for London (TfL) have announced that it is naming each of the six lines to reflect London’s rich history.

The names and colours of each line have been selected after a period of engagement with customers and communities, with the help of local historians and the Mayor of London’s Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm.

The new names are a unique opportunity to honour and celebrate London’s many historic locations and forgotten stories, using public spaces to highlight groups that have been historically less recognised. The line running between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside, soon to be featured as a route Add-on for Train Sim World 4, will be green and has been named the Suffragette line.

As a result, we’ll be referring to this forthcoming route Add-on by its new name London Overground Suffragette line: Gospel Oak - Barking Riverside on store pages, in articles and on social media.

We’ll have further news on the route Add-on closer to release. In the meantime, you can read more about the naming over on the TfL website.
