Fishing Sim World: Meet Chuck Pippin
To ensure that Fishing Sim World is the most authentic simulator ever made, we work with experts to help guide us when developing the software. In Euro Fishing we worked alongside Korda and Simon Scott and have brought their expertise across for the carp and coarse element of Fishing Sim World but we needed someone for bass fishing. We also needed to arrange a research trip to get hands on experience of the game that we were making so it made sense for our expert to also be a professional guide.
Some research took place and led us to Chuck Pippin who not only became our guide for our research trip (see our separate article regarding this) but also became our ‘go to man’ for any questions relating to the world of bass fishing.
Chuck is based in Orlando, Florida and started as a Bass fishing guide in 1997 on West Lake Toho and the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, during his junior year at the University of Central Florida. After graduating, he moved to Clewiston, Florida and spent 5 years as a guide at Roland Martin's Marina on Lake Okeechobee. During this time, he began his career as a professional tournament angler fishing both the FLW Tour and the B.A.S.S. Southern Opens. In October of 2002, he moved back to the Orlando, Florida area to continue his guiding career on West Lake Tohopekaliga, the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes and other Orlando area lakes. To this day, he continues to do approximately 300+ charters per year, thoroughly enjoying the sport of bass fishing still and being one of the most experienced guides in the business. His number of repeat bookings each year from satisfied customers is testament to his guiding skills.
Not only is Chuck a professional guide, he is also a professional angler on the Bassmaster Eastern Open Division, aiming to qualify for the Elite series. Chuck is also sponsored by some of the best in the business including Ranger Boats, Evinrude Outboards, Toho Marine & Outdoors, Minn Kota Motors, Humminbird, 13 Fishing, & D.O.A. Lures.
We will continue to work closely with Chuck and would like to thank him for all his help to date. He has very active social media channels where you can watch highlights from recent guiding trips as well as follow his process on the Bassmaster Open tour. Please click on the links and make sure you give him a follow and if you want the best guide in Orlando, Chuck is your man!
