Have you got a catch shot from Pro Tour that you want to show off to your fellow anglers? Since we started posting your catch shots in our #yourprotour posts we've been receiving some fantastic shots from the community!

We've also received some questions on how to submit your screenshots so we thought we'd put together a handy guide on how to get them from your game to us on our social media pages. Bonus points for puns in the captions and screenshots with or without the HUD are welcome.

There are a few ways to get screenshots from your Xbox on to social media. We've explained two ways to do it below.

Option 1 is to upload the screenshots directly to Twitter, it's super easy, just make sure you have your Xbox account to your Twitter account in your console settings under the account tab.

When you have your catch shot you want to send to us, press the Xbox button and press Y to save your screenshot. When you get the pop up telling you that the screenshot was successfully saved, hold the Xbox button and go down to the share to Twitter option. You will then have a box where you can add a caption for the shot, make sure to tag us @DovetailFishing and add #yourprotour to the post and then share away.

The second option follows similar steps to option one, in this case you can choose to instead upload your screenshot to OneDrive under the 'See all sharing options' menu. Upload it to your OneDrive account and you will access it from pc or mobile and upload it to Facebook or Instagram. Again remember to tag us on the post and include the #yourprotour tag.

On PlayStation there is also a couple of ways in which you can send us your screenshots. We've outlined them below.

The easiest and most straightfoward option is to share them directly to Twitter. When you've caught a fish you want to share with us, hit the share button on your controller and then select upload screenshot. When you're asked where to send it to, select Twitter and you will be taken through to edit your post. In the comment add your caption for the post, make sure to tag us @DovetailFishing and include the #yourprotour hashtag.

If you're not a fan of Twitter or don't have an account you can use a USB storage device to transfer images from your console onto a computer or laptop. When you've got a great catch, press the share button and this time press triangle to save the screenshot.

With your USB device connected, go back to your PlayStation Home by pressing the PlayStation button and find your Capture Gallery. In the capture gallery, press the Options button and select the "Copy to USB Storage Device" option. You can then copy across any of the screenshots you want to bring across.

Once you have done this, plug the device in to a PC or laptop and you will find the screenshots in the PS4>Share>screenshots folder. They can now be posted to Facebook, tag @DovetailFishing and remember your #yourprotour tag.

If you're playing on Steam you can make use of the built-in screenshot functionality to take a screenshot and upload this from your computer to Facebook or Twitter.

When you're in game and have just caught a fish that you want to send us press your screenshot button. This is F12 by default in Steam unless you have changed it. Go in to your Steam library and scroll down to where it says screenshots on the right hand side. Click on Manage My Screenshots and from the window that appears select 'Show on Disk'. This will take you through to the folder in which your screenshots are stored. This is where you will need to upload from when sending your screenshots to us on Facebook and Twitter.
