You may have noticed when customising your character, dice, and hex frame that some items are locked behind a padlock. Today we’ll explain how you can unlock and use these items! A note though, some of these items are exclusive to the Deluxe Edition version of CATAN – Console Editon

To unlock items you need to complete challenges and to access these challenges you need to be logged into Dovetail Live.

To do this, from the main menu, navigate to Profile and register/log in to Dovetail Live. You’ll also notice we post articles like Patch Notes here in the News and Articles tab, this is super handy for keeping up to date with what’s happening in CATAN – Console Edition.

Select Mastery Progress and you’ll notice Bronze, Silver and Gold. Select any of these to reveal the details of the challenge, in the case of Bronze by completing 1 online public multiplayer game you’ll unlock and have access to a new character, Harbour Master.

Progress towards these challenges will not be counted unless you are logged into Dovetail Live.
