We've reached the halfway point in our April Season of the Dovetail Fishing League and we are seeing some incredible performances from individuals across all the platforms including a win in every series for one angler in week 2. Xbox One Big Bass Tour It was 2 wins from 2 for Bigtimer J as he took the win in the Big Bass Tour on Lake Seminole. He extends his lead over ScoobyHaze420 in second place. PhillyBass was able to close the gap and climb in to the top 3 of the season leaderboard. He takes over as the leader in the season leaderboards ahead of mafioso filho. FutureSpace1685 secured a second place finish in week 2 to bring them in to third in the standings. Carp Championship: The Siamese and common carp are your target this week as you head to Gillhams Fishing Resort. There will be light clouds in this sunset tournament. Can you net a winning score? Match Series: Enjoy the beautiful Florida sunset this week as you head to Lake Johnson for the Match Series. Clear skies mean the conditions are great for bagging a high score. Every species counts here as you try to catch as many fish as you can in the time limit. Predator Challenge: Grand Union Canal is our venue of choice for the Predator Challenge this week in tournament taking place at sunrise. The heavy rain will mean you have to adjust your approach accordingly.

The scores are in and we can see our early leaders in the April season of the Dovetail Fishing League. We've seen some of our anglers pick up where they left off in March and others who are making a strong showing of their intent for this season. Xbox One Big Bass Tour Bigtimer J made a strong start to the Big Bass Tour on Lake Guntersville in Week 1 as everyone looks to stop PhillyBass 1965 from taking the series in April. Big Bass Tour: Another popular tournament venue for the Big Bass Tour this week with Lake Seminole being our location of choice. This tournament takes place at sunrise with a light cloud covering. Your biggest 5 bass will make up your score here. Carp Championship: The legendary Gigantica Main Lake is our Carp Championship lake of the week. The massive carp that live here will really get an impressive score in the bag. Clear skies in the afternoon make for great conditions on the lake. Match Series: Don't let the night time rain on Bergsee stop you from bagging as many fish as you can within the time limit. Conditions will be difficult but you'll still be able to set a good score if your tactics are right. Predator Challenge: For the Predator Challenge this week we are heading in to the Amazon rainforest for a morning tournament on Laguna Iquitos. Use the clear skies to your advantage as you look to haul in the highest length of fish possible.

March 2020 Angler of the Month
After 5 weeks of fierce competition and tense results we have now crowned our Anglers of the Month and Series Winners for March. Let's see who they were. Xbox One The late surge in the season from PhillyBass 1965 sees him finish first overall in the Big Bass Tour! The Carp Championship was won by l Bigtimer J l after his victories earlier in the season put him in a strong position to take the series overall. ScoobyHaze420 held off pressure from the chasing pack to come out on top in the Match Series. One series win was not enough for l Bigtimer J l as he also took home first in the Predator Challenge managing to keep second and third place at bay until the end. Congratulations to our Xbox Angler of the Month for March, l Bigtimer J l! His two series victories in the Carp Championship and Predator Challenge combined with finishing high in the rankings of the other two series see him come out on top. A second place in week 5 following consecutive wins for SMOKEYMON-G-313 saw him clinch the Carp Championship title. He also took the Match Series with a win in the final week allowing him to close the gap and take the win in the series. There were just 5 points in that one as well! Just missing out on a clean sweep of the series for the month, HarryStankfoot was the winner in the Predator Challenge. A Fantastic performance from them! With top 5 finishes in every series this month, we say congratulations to SMOKEYMON-G-313 who is our Angler of the Month for March on PlayStation! UndeadFrog prevented the clean sweep by taking first place in the Predator Challenge following another strong result in week 5. Predator Challenge: Don't be distracted by the stunning sunset as the Predator Challenge takes place on Lake Dylan. How to use the trolling motor
Now that we have the trolling motor in Fishing Sim World we wanted to provide a short guide on how to use it. This article will explain how to use it with the controls for each platform included. Now for how to control it. PS4 If you are playing on PS4 you can drop the trolling motor in to the water by pressing R3. You will see the motor drop down in to the water and it will be ready to use. To start controlling the trolling motor you will need to hold the X button. This will cause the interface to be highlighted to show that you are now controlling it. With X held use the up and down directional buttons to adjust the speed of the trolling motor. The direction of the motor is controlled with the left and right directional buttons. Xbox One If you are playing on Xbox One (note that these controls will also apply if using a controller on PC) you can drop the trolling motor in to the water by pressing the right stick. You will see the motor drop down in to the water and it will be ready to use. To start controlling the trolling motor you will need to hold the A button. This will cause the interface to be highlighted to show that you are now controlling it. With A held use the up and down buttons on the d-pad to adjust the speed of the trolling motor. The direction of the motor is controlled with the left and right buttons on the d-pad. PC If you are playing on PC using a keyboard and mouse, you can drop the trolling motor in to the water by pressing T. You will see the motor drop down in to the water and it will be ready to use. To start controlling the trolling motor you will need to hold the Shift key. This will cause the interface to be highlighted to show that you are now controlling it. With Shift held use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the speed of the trolling motor. The direction of the motor is controlled with the left and right arrow keys.

Dovetail Fishing League - March Week 4 Tournament Details
Week 4 has arrived in the March Dovetail Fishing League Season and the competition is fierce. We're seeing anglers put their stamp on the standings after the first three weeks but there's still 2 weeks of fishing to go and plenty of room to pick up those valuable points! Here's how things stand after week 3: Xbox One Big Bass Tour MOHAMMED CURAY closed the gap to SSR TrustTested to just 6 points with a win in week 3 at Lake Jordan. Bigtimer J is following them in third having bumped PhillyBass 1965 out of the top 3. We'll see how he can respond in week 4. Don't let the heavy rain stop you from catching those specimen carp and setting an unbeatable score! Match Series: Lough Kerr will be home to the Match Series this week. It's an afternoon tournament with light clouds and all species are being counted in this one. You may be distracted by the beautiful Irish countryside here but keep an eye on the real goal! Predator Challenge: Our Wisconsin venue, Lake Miller is the destination for the Predator Challenge this week.
